In His Presence

"You have made known to me the paths of life; you fill me with joy in your presence." Acts 2:28 I have decided to start a blog because I have been finding so many other blogs so inspiring over the last few days. Hopefully, this one will be inspiring to you!

1 Keep me safe, O God,
for in you I take refuge.
2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing."
3 As for the saints who are in the land,
they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
4 The sorrows of those will increase
who run after other gods.
I will not pour out their libations of blood
or take up their names on my lips.
5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
you have made my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the LORD always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
11 You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand

- Psalm 16

Thank you God for giving me your Peace! I thank you so much for leading me to this Psalm this morning. May I continue to pray this Psalm to you.

God Bless,

O Lord, listen to my prayer.
Open your ears to hear my urgent requests.
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.
Do not take me to court for judgement,
because there is no one alive
who is righteous in your presence.
The enemy has pursued me.
He has ground y life into the dirt.
He has made me live in dark places
like those who have died long ago.
That is why I begin to lose hope
and my heart is in a state of shock.
I remember the days long ago.
I reflect on all that you have done.
I carefully stretch our my hands to you in prayer.
Like parched land, my soul thirsts for you.
Answer me quickly, O Lord.
My spirit is worn out.
Do not hide your face from me,
or I will be like those who go into the pit.
Let me hear about your mercy in the morning,
because I TRUST you.
Let me know the way that I should go,
because I LONG for you.
Rescue you me from my enemies, O ord.
I come to you for protection.
Teach me to do your WILL, because you are MY GOD!
May your Spirit lead me on level ground.
O Lord, keep me alive for the sake of your name.
Because you are righteous, lead me out of trouble.
In keeping with your mercy, wipe out your enemies
and destroy all who torment me
because I AM YOUR SERVANT.

- Psalm 143, A Psalm by David.

Once again I am thankful to God that He is teaching me how to pray through the Psalms. I needed this Psalms this morning and God is speaking to me as I write. Spiritual Warfare is definitely real!!!! But can I say... that I will always remain a SERVANT OF GOD! Amen to that!
God is good and He is faithful even when Satan is in the midst. I remember when I worked in North Carolina, our first conservatory staff meeting started like this: "I want you to be aware that just because you are working at a Christian camp does not mean Satan is not here. It actually means that we have to be on guard more than ever before." Well that has stuck to me and I am very thankful for the person who said that to begin the meeting. Satan doesn't want us doing God's work... and He will try to attack but that is when we need to stand FIRM in our faith! Read the Book of Hebrews... and stand firm in your faith today!

God Bless you,
Rebecca
