In His Presence

"You have made known to me the paths of life; you fill me with joy in your presence." Acts 2:28 I have decided to start a blog because I have been finding so many other blogs so inspiring over the last few days. Hopefully, this one will be inspiring to you!

Ministry Opportunities!

So today I discovered the awesome opportunities in which God puts in front of us to minister.
As I was sitting in the hospital today waiting with one of my friends, God really made me think about all the wonderful opportunities that we can have to minister or just listen. I was able to talk to a couple of people in the emergency room today just by saying a simple hello or smiling as they sat down a long side of me. It is amazing what a simple smile or hello can do. It opened up a conversation and I was able to sit back and listen to this lady's story. The same happened with a gentleman.

Although sitting in a hospital can be a drag, I would have to say I never found it that way at all today. As I watched all sorts of people coming into the hospital, I was able to see that we also have opportunity to pray for individuals. Some people have their "STORY" written all over their faces. Today I sat in silence I was able to pray for these individuals. I was able to just have a desire to help in prayer.

God is always good! Keep your ears and eyes open... you never know what God is trying to speak or show to you!

Blessings!

Witnesses for Christ 2007-2009 Welcoming Meeting!

I am so thankful to God that I am finally at CFOT, here in Winnipeg! I am so happy and glad to be serving God in the Salvation Army. I am even more elated for being obedient to God's Will and giving my whole life to Him as I study to become a minister. I am so thankful that three years ago I felt God calling me to officership. Although, the calling to officership was somewhat of a struggle for me, a year and half later I finally accepted His call and since then I have been embodied with the feeling of peace. God is amazing!
This weekend, my session, "The Witnesses for Christ", had our Welcoming. It was a really nice occasion and celebration. God really spoke to us through His speakers! I really hope that in the next two years I will ----- (1) gain a greater understanding of theology, (2) dig deep into the Word and understand it to the best of my ability, (3) grow in my relationship with Christ, and (4) continue to think positively!
I am so thankful also that my family was here to support me. God is good!
God Bless!
