"You have made known to me the paths of life; you fill me with joy in your presence." Acts 2:28 I have decided to start a blog because I have been finding so many other blogs so inspiring over the last few days. Hopefully, this one will be inspiring to you!

Affirming my Calling

In the interview that we had within the first couple of weeks of Training College, we were asked the question: Has anything affirmed your calling in the past three weeks since you have been here?

Well, I could answer yes at that point but now I can answer yes more so. It is amazing to see how God is moving and how God has been speaking to me since I have been here. God never ceases to amaze me. So many Bible verses have been standing out to me but this one inparticular has stood out to me: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1: 6)

and Psalm 40:8 "I desire to do your will O my God; your law is within my heart".

Both of these verses have been following me around since I have been here.

Each day I feel like that I am supposed to be here more and more. I know that God has called me to ministry. I know that God has placed a special ministry on my heart, and I know that He will continue to equip me. What else can I say but that I serve an awesome God!

Blessings,
Rebecca

Having Hope in Christ. . .

Today is an In-Sunday at CFOT and the service this morning is talking about HOPE, and certainty in God. That;s how we the planning team planned it.

Anyway, I have been thinking about this alot in the last two weeks as I have watched one of friends go through a rough time and I keep thinking what would be different if she put her hope and trust in God?

Well, this morning I will be singing the song In Christ Alone by Brian Littrell. Let me share with you the chorus of the song:

In Christ Alone I place my trust
and find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory let it be said of me,
my source of strength, my source of hope,
in Christ Alone!

Pray for your friends who do not have the hope of Christ in their lives!

Blessings,
Rebecca
