In His Presence

"You have made known to me the paths of life; you fill me with joy in your presence." Acts 2:28 I have decided to start a blog because I have been finding so many other blogs so inspiring over the last few days. Hopefully, this one will be inspiring to you!

Leaving Here...

So in 6 sleeps I will be leaving the community where I spent the last 2 years. It has been a great 2 years with many different adventures, many things learnt, much fun had, and friendships developed. I really enjoyed my time here. The community was very supportive of the school music program; you never had to ask for help, people would just offer; and everyone was extremely friendly. You couldn't ask for anything better than that! Thanks everyone!

So . . . Everything is coming to an end. It is sad in a way but exciting at the same time. In 63 days I will be in Winnipeg to begin a new adventure in my life which I am thoroughly looking forward to! I will be entering into a ministry program where I know I am supposed to be. But without a doubt leaving here is a bit sad too!

Today I said goodbye to my roommate. She flew back home to Newfoundland today. For two people who did not know each other when we came here... we definitely hit it off and got along so well!!!! I really believe that God put us in the same place for a reason. We had so many things in common and we shared the same beliefs. That was amazing and once again I will say: "God definitely takes care of the little things". I will definitely miss her and I am sure we will make many phone calls to one another next year. I will probably be calling Carla everytime I cook supper... ha ha ha. What goes in gravy? Milk, right? Just kiddin'. While here we basically did everything together. It was a rare occasion to see either one of us at the store on our own! It was an even rarer occasion to see either one of us walk to school on our own. What one did the other did. I am absolutely serious about that. Anyway, Carla.... it was good times had and I will miss you tons. There will be days in Winnipeg where I am sure I will say I wish I was walking to the store with Carla!

Well... it has been a good two years. I am so thankful for everything God has done for me while I have been here!

Blessings,
Rebecca
