Nunatsiavut: Our Beautiful Land

Carla, Russell, and I walked to the hill that overlooks Makkovik one day in September. Here is a picture of Carla and I on the rock on top of the hill. We were testing out my camera at this point!

Well, Labrador has many spectacular sights. You definitely know you live in God's creation when you are in Labrador. Everything is beautiful. You feel like you are in nature all the time. When I first arrived here last year, I felt like I was in camp again. You land at the airport, someone picks you up, brings you where you will be staying, and then you walk back and forth to your work. Sometimes it still reminds me like I am at summer camp. That always gives it an even nicer feeling than what it already is.

These pictures are taken from the hill that overlooks the community. It is a nice little hike and the walking is very worthwhile for the breathtaking view.
